How Virtual Meetings Work with MyBuilderCPA

Hello! I’m Jon Markee, Founder and CEO of MyBuilderCPA. If you’re exploring our services or just getting familiar with how we operate, here’s what you need to know about how our routine virtual meetings work.


Scheduling Your First Meeting


We use Google Calendar Appointment Slots for scheduling. If you don’t see an opening in the next week or so, feel free to email us—we may have a cancellation sooner. Routine Meetings for Clients

Once you're a client, we’ll establish a recurring meeting schedule that fits your needs—whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. These meetings will be set up via Google Calendar invites, and we recommend enabling notifications (a 5-minute reminder before the meeting works best!).

To keep things organized and efficient, we use a shared Google Doc for meeting agendas. You can bookmark the link and add discussion topics anytime. As an extra reminder, our Executive Admin will send an email with the agenda 24 hours before the meeting.


Annual Scheduling

We prefer to schedule a full year of routine meetings in advance—from January through December. Each fall, we’ll reach out to confirm or adjust the schedule for the upcoming year. This ensures meetings align with your evolving needs while keeping things structured and predictable.


Meeting Cancellations & Late Arrivals

  • If you can’t make a scheduled meeting, please email us as soon as possible—even an hour’s notice helps free up time for another client.

  • If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we won’t be able to wait. Instead, you’ll need to reschedule for the next available slot. This keeps our workflow running smoothly and respects everyone’s time.


Meeting Format

  • Platform: We use Google Meet for all virtual meetings. No extra software installation is needed—just click the link in your calendar invite.

  • Joining: It takes two clicks to join—one to open Google Meet and another to officially enter the meeting. Please read the prompts carefully to ensure you’re fully connected.


Additional Meetings

Need extra time outside your routine meetings? You can always use our Let’s Meet link to schedule additional sessions. However, if out-of-scope meetings become frequent, we may need to discuss adjusting your service plan to reflect your needs.
